i have been busy this week. with all the changes that i had to handle, i finally got my well-deserved weekend break!
last saturday, i have been to the kansai international airport once again to send-off a family friend who had been here in japan for a vacation. i usually enjoy being in an international airport, with all the different kinds of people from different countries, i could feel that somehow i am part of this one world and somehow kanang feeling that i have been going to places pud uy. heheh.. :D but last saturday, the place was very crowded and was very cold due to the fact that it's now autumn here and also because of the strong breeze coming from the sea! (the airport is in a man-made island off the Kansai Bay)! mura nuon ko kasakyunon pauli Pinas! heheh... unsaon na lang? :D wala pa koy tigum intawn! hahah!
anyway, what i really wanted to write here is about my latest discovery. (mura'g unsa no? ) it's the software called TVU Player! TVUPlayer is an Internet TV aggregator with 40 channels of streaming programs. I could watch ESPN, Disney, ABC, FOX, NBC, CNN, USA, Comedy Central, Animal Planet, Telemundo, Al Jazeera and MLB TV among others. (As if kabalo ko unsay mga programs naa aning mga chanela ba! ) And it's for free! Staying at my small apartment during weekends has now become an option. heheh... Grr! I can already hear my sensei and my boss complaining, since they would prefer me watching Japanese TV for the sake of improving my Nihongo listening skills. Grr! Alangan no? With my current Nihongo, I can only manage to understand kanang mga travel shows unya naboringan na sad ko kay pare-pareho ra ang contents/format. heheh... Moadto sa ani nga lugar unya mo-exclaim nga "Kirei! Kirei!" Sugoi! Sugoi!", and then mo-eat ug food then mo-react ug "Oishiiiii!!!! Oishii!" "Umaiiiii! Umai!" with matching facial expressions. heheh! i'll still study nihongo, but let me have my TVU! heheh!
And about my work, i think, i couldn't ask for more as of this time. (i have been working there just for 5 days anyway, so i really can't tell pa.) But so far, the people there are nice and are so receptive of us. At least there is something to look forward to in coming to the office which is important since I will be spending most of my time there. And the work is pretty interesting, something that i haven't done before and so there's so much opportunity of growth career-wise. well, just by staying here in japan, i think, already offers some kind of growth. i just hope that that could be said true for me. :D but there's really no need to worry. :D
as what a friend of mine wrote in his webspace:
"When you look at yourself from a universal standpoint, something inside always reminds or informs you that there are bigger and better things to worry about."
'til next time!
