basically, it's a contactless smart card used on JR West rail network in Japan. ang keyword ana is "contactless"... heheh.. so, wala nay insert2x pa ug ticket sa station. ipatong lang nimo sa reader then enter/exit naka... :D cool no? :) heheh..
cellfone used as train pass? hmm murag layo pa na kay takes lots of changes and money to that, but docomo and au already supports shopping using your phone as credit card. And I think its docomo fones that can be used to purchase airlines tickets.
But I have not heard vodafone supporting this features yet.. so sorry na lang ta.. :D
Also you can also extend your ICOCA, so that naa siya load nya kung beyond sa imong destination, didto ra siya mag deduct sa imong gi-load nga extension ..
>Also you can also extend your ICOCA, >so that naa siya load nya kung >beyond sa imong destination, didto >ra siya mag deduct sa imong gi-load >nga extension .. yeah, i've tried this one. automatic ayo... so convenient. and then pwede pa gyud sya maski sa hankyu and sa subway. ang sa kintetsu lang yata ang dili pwede.... :)
sana, capable na ang cellphones ani 2 years from now.. sa sunod nakong palit! hahah!! :D
