A Day with Our Boss

this was our first day-out with our boss and went to a variety of places here in kansai. at 10 AM, we met at kyobashi and then boarded the train bound for yodo station to go to the horse race stadium in kyoto. it was my first time to go and see this kind of place! we bet five times (of course, with the minimum amount possible.. heheh) and we won once!!!! but, nah, it didn't make me rich or something. we went with the pair that has the most odds (favorite bet) and so we just had our money doubled... 100 yen x 2 = 200 yen. WHAT A PITY!!! we watched up until the 8th race where i bet for the horse named "Cosmo Meteor" and "Lady Killer". (What a combination!). But only "Lady Killer" won and Cosmo was behind 6 other horses! grrr!!! maybe cosmo and lady killer just don't make any sense! hahah...


we headed back to the city around 3 pm and went to tennoji. i can't believe that it had been 11 years since my boss had set foot on this part of the city. imagine, elementary pa intawn ko since the last time na miadto sya??!! shinjirarenai!!! it just took 2 cheerful and good-looking (way kurat na ni! :D ) filipinos for him to visit tennoji again. we went to the tsutenkaku tower where i managed to ask my boss to take a picture with raneil. :) it's a different side of osaka... so full of life

having the luxury of time, we headed to the nearby namba and checked out how the popular building namba parks is doing at this time of the year. our boss had only heard of this new place that is so well-built and well-designed. it was his "debut" to enjoy the stair gardens. and me having been there a couple of times? i took time taking pictures with this giant christmas tree near the entrance... :D we related to him that if ever i could just have this kind of christmas tree in the philippines, people would have to drop by at our house... heheh... it would immediately become a tourist attraction! hahah!!! (go Bohol go!!!!)

how did our day ended? we had dinner at an eat-all-you-can restaurant in umeda and then an hour of karaoke craziness! hahah!

what a life!
