dear prudence

"across the universe" is amazing. the actors are great and their voices are very easy, if not blissful, to the ears. here is one of my favorite themes of the movie which reminds me to go out there, enjoy the company of my friends, go live and fall in love...

the matador

i totally enjoyed my 2 hours watching this movie. the story revolves around two different people, who had a chance encounter at a bar in Mexico. eventhough they are of exact opposites (one guy is a lonely globetrotting hitman and the other is a naive travelling salesman, they have formed a special kind of friendship. i think the movie is pretty humorous, and is also touching. what's more interesting to me was that there was a sequence that's set in Manila, the Philippines. :D astig talaga ang maynila at pinas! well-known tayo sa mundo ng mga hitman.. heheh..
