new look

i just had my haircut today. and i feel quite satisfied with it. no color yet, my nihongo isn't ready for that i think... heheh.. i don't wanna end up having to carry a strange hair color for one month or so... :) heheh

i love going to this place which is near from my apartment. the staff there is very funny and, thanks to that, somehow we can have conversations while she's doing her thing. :) it's really a good feeling having your haircut done. the feeling of having somebody else's hand running through your hair. i can't believe that i had been procrastinating to cut my hair for 3 weeks. i was hoping to have it grow longer so that i could try more "cool" japanese hairstyles... but dah... never mind, i bet they are hard to maintain... heheh (sour-graping na ba?)

i find the payment system strange though. when you first enter the shop, you have to buy a ticket that costs 1500yen, then when your turn comes, you hand in your ticket to the hair stylist. yeah, you pay in advanced. i am not used to that yet. i can't go out without confirming first whether i have already paid. the stylist just laughed at me and said that i don't have to ask about that because in the first place she won't start doing her job when i don't give her the ticket. heheh.. clever japanese!
